Natural questions

People ask badly, and that is fine.

Real questions arrive with two things in one sentence, a missing detail, a typo and no idea which page the answer is on.

A scripted chatbot needs the visitor to phrase things its way. It matches keywords, offers a menu, and gives up when the question does not fit one of its branches. The visitor is left doing the translation.

Chatsoro works the other way around. The question is read as written, including the parts that are implied, and the answer is put together from your own content. If someone asks about two things at once, both get answered. If they follow up with “and what about the other one”, the thread is still there.

It is not magic and it is not always right. Where the information genuinely is not on your site, the honest answer is to say so and point the visitor at a person, and that is how the instructions are written.

How answers are put together

1. Your knowledge is indexed
Chatsoro reads the website pages you want it to use, plus any documents or notes written for it, and stores them, broken into passages, as knowledge that belongs to your chatbot alone.
2. The relevant passages are retrieved
When a question arrives, Chatsoro searches that knowledge by meaning rather than by exact words, and pulls out the passages most likely to contain the answer.
3. The answer is written from them
Those passages, your business instructions and the conversation so far are used to write a reply. Grounding the answer in retrieved content is what keeps it tied to your business instead of to general knowledge about your industry.

Chatsoro selects an appropriate model configuration for answer quality, speed and usage. That is handled for you and is not something you need to choose or manage.

Instructions and tone

Written instructions decide how the chatbot speaks, what it should steer people towards and where it should stop and hand over. We change them whenever the business changes.

Welcome and fallback messages

The first line a visitor sees is yours to write, and so is the line the chatbot uses when a question is outside what your knowledge covers.

Widget styling

Your colour, your logo, the chatbot’s name and the corner it sits in are set to match your site. Text colours are chosen automatically so they stay readable on your brand colour.

Approved domains

Each chatbot answers only on the websites you approve. If the script is copied onto another site, it does not answer.

A conversation persists, so a visitor can ask a follow-up without repeating themselves and the answer still makes sense.

Streaming answers

Answers appear as they are written rather than after a long pause, which makes a considered reply feel quick.

Lead capture

When a visitor wants a quote, a callback or a booking, or asks something your knowledge does not cover, the chatbot offers to pass their details on. Each lead is saved with the conversation it came from.

Responsive widget

The same chatbot works on a phone and on a desktop, sized for the screen it is on and for a thumb rather than a cursor.

Usage

Every chatbot has its own monthly allowance of AI replies, a per-visitor rate limit and an on and off switch, all enforced by the server rather than the widget. Replies stop at the allowance, and nothing is charged automatically.

Re-indexing

When your website changes, we re-index it so answers reflect the change. The chatbot keeps answering from the previous version until the new one is ready. It is run on request, not on a schedule.

Conversations and leads

Questions asked, answers given and details captured are recorded against your chatbot, and reviewed with you through the Chatsoro service.

Knowledge per chatbot

Each chatbot has its own knowledge, held separately. One business never answers from another business’s pages, documents or notes.

Paste it before the closing body tag, or add it through your platform’s custom code setting. There is nothing else to install.

Both values are placeholders. The real platform URL and your site ID are given to you during setup, and the script only answers on the approved domains for your chatbot.

It loads asynchronously, so it does not hold up your page. If you use a content security policy on your site, the Chatsoro widget origin needs to be allowed, and we will give you the exact value.

Scope

What Chatsoro does not do yet.

Worth knowing before you start, so nothing is a surprise later.

Website chat only. There is no WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook messaging or voice channel today.
No bookings or transactions. The chatbot answers and captures details. It does not take payments, hold a reservation or change an order.
No customer login yet. During early access we set up and run your chatbot, and changes are made on request. Leads are not emailed automatically yet, so we pass them on to you.
People still handle the hard ones. Complex, sensitive or high-value questions should reach someone in the business, and the instructions are written so they do.
